ASC Engineered Solutions™ Introduces a New Anvil® No-Hub Pipe Restraint in Four Sizes

Exeter, NH, June 6, 2022 – ASC Engineered Solutions™ now offers an Anvil Fig 213 No-Hub Pipe Restraint in four sizes. It provides restraint against movement in plumbing systems that could cause a failure of the no-hub pipe coupling.

The Fig 213 No-Hub Restraint has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Cast Iron Soil Pipe Institute (CISPI) Standard Specification for hub-less cast-iron soil pipe and fittings used in sanitary and storm drain waste and vent piping applications – CISPI Designation 301-18.

The Fig 213 No-Hub restraint prevents damage to pipe-to-pipe and pipe-to-fitting connections resulting from water hammer that can lead to costly system failures resulting in potential property damage and downtime.

It has universal application with all types of no-hub fittings - straight couplings, 90° and 45° angled piping, tees, wye strainers, and is available in sizes 4” up to 8”.

This product installs easily over existing no-hub couplings without the use of any special tools. It features a window that allows for easy access to hose clamps of the no-hub coupling and a scalloped notch that enables correct positioning of the restraint on angled fittings. Open access to the no-hub coupling allows for adjustment if needed.
